HOW TO USE :

  • Apply in the centre of your upper lip to the outer edges, following the contours of your mouth.
  • Then glide across the entire bottom lip. Can be worn under lip Color.
  • For optimal protection, re-apply when lips are exposed to strong sun, wind or cold.

Packaging, which is what made this collection a Limited Edition lip balm collection. The lip balm comes in a regular Baby Lips tube which has the silver metallic body with  the color coded theme. The packaging is really very cute and chic with the New York city buildings and the graffiti on it is what I love.

These Maybelline Alia Loves New York Baby Lips are tinted lip balms. They give a decent pigmentation along with that balmy shine to the lips. They’re not slippery at all, the lip balm has a good waxy consistency and the lip balm holds good on to the lips. These lip balms have a delicious fruity fragrance to them. But these don’t taste like anything.

These lip balms are super moisturizing. They give a boost of hydration to dry chapped lips and moisturize them so well. Lack of hydration makes my lips very chapped sometimes and this lip balm just heals it completely in first use giving me the softest baby lips. The Vitamin E oil and the Cononut oil in the lip balm really help in providing good moisture to the lips and keep them hydrated for a good period. These lip balms do give a good color pay off, so you can use it alone as a lip tint. Unlike the regular lip balms which dry up after an hour or so, this one did not dry up at all. I had my lip balm on for 4 hours non-stop and not even once I felt the need of reapplying it again. I do feel these have much moisturizing power to them that lasts for a much  longer period. And the added benefit of SPF 20 gives my lips protection from the harmful UV rays as well. Since these are tinted lip balms, the tint is still on even when the lip balm wears off.

Overall, I do feel that these new Maybelline Alia Loves New York Baby Lips lip balms have a much better quality when compared to the rest of the baby lips lip balms. And I’m very much loving these lip balms. I’d definitely recommend these to everyone.

Did you try the new Maybelline Alia Loves New York Baby Lips lip balms???
